Ms. Erin Browne is a managing director and portfolio manager in the Newport Beach office, focusing on asset allocation strategies, including PIMCO’s multi-asset funds and RealPath Blend target date offerings. She manages multi-asset strategies, leads the Glide Path leadership team, and serves as a permanent member of the Americas Portfolio Committee and a rotating member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2018, Ms. Browne was a managing director and head of asset allocation at UBS Asset Management, helping to drive the firm’s macro research, capital market assumptions, tactical asset allocation, and strategic asset allocation views across asset classes. Previously, she was head of macro investments at UBS O’Connor, a multi-strategy hedge fund manager, and a global macro portfolio manager at Point72 Asset Management. She has also held roles at Citigroup, Moore Capital Management, Neuberger Berman, and Lehman Brothers. She regularly appears on CNBC, Bloomberg Television, and in other financial news media. She serves as the board treasurer of the Ecology Center, a board member of the Ocean Conservancy and is on the advisory board of Girls Who Invest. She has 23 years of investment experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Georgetown University.
Robert Dannenberg is an independent consultant on geopolitical and security risk. From 2009 to 2014, he was a managing director and head of the Office of Global Security for Goldman Sachs. From 2014 to 2021, Rob was an advisor to Goldman Sachs and the firm’s clients on geopolitical risk. Prior to joining the firm, Rob worked at BP plc where he was the director of International Security Affairs. Before that, he worked for 24 years at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he served in several leadership positions, including chief of Operations for the Counterterrorism Center, chief of the Central Eurasia Division, and chief of the CIA’s Information Operations (Cyber) Center. He is a recipient of the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal, the Donovan Award for Operational Excellence, the George HW Bush Award for Excellence in Counterterrorism and the Director’s Award. Ms. Deirdre Dunn is currently Head of Rates and in this capacity, Deirdre oversees the sales, trading, and origination businesses of Citi’s Rates franchise. Prior to this appointment, Deirdre was running North American G10 Rates Markets, responsible for the Trading, Structuring and North American Distribution of G10 Interest Rate Products. Deirdre joined Citi in July 2011 to run the mortgage pass through trading desk. Prior to joining Citi, she ran the US Interest Rate Swaps Trading Desk for Barclays Capital. She also spent two years with Barclays Capital in London, managing the long end of European Government Bond business, and then building out a cross currency Sovereign Supranational and Agency Trading business. Deirdre began her career in 1999 at Goldman Sachs. In 10 years there and at Lehman Brothers, she traded a variety of different residential and commercial mortgage products, ultimately running the pass through trading business. Deirdre holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Deirdre is a member of the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, which is an advisory committee governed by federal statute that meets quarterly with the Treasury Department. The Borrowing Committee presents their observations to the Treasury Department on the overall strength of the U.S. economy as well as providing recommendations on a variety of technical debt management issues. She is a member of the Executive Council of the Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers at Dana Farber. She is also a member of the Foundation of Paul Taylor’s American Modern Dance.
Scott Friedman, CFA, FRM sits on the Management Committee and the Investment Partners Team at Soroban Capital, a multi-billion-dollar global investment firm. Scott builds and monitors comprehensive Risk Analytics for the firm and leads Global Trading. Prior to Soroban Capital, Scott was the Global Head of Trading at TPG-Axon Capital where he designed and led the trading desk analytics/technology/infrastructure across four global offices. He was a Cross-Asset Arbitrage Trader in the proprietary Goldman Sachs Risk Arbitrage & Principal Strategies Group and started his career in 2001 at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst. Scott is a charter holder of both the CFA and FRM, a NYSSA (New York Society of Security Analysts) member and a GARP member. At the start of 2021, the University of Florida was gifted the fastest Artificial Intelligence-rooted Supercomputer on any college campus in U.S. Academia. Inspired by, and joining forces with Chris Malachowsky of Nvidia, Scott gifted and endowed the first Professorship in AI/ML at UF to accelerate faculty work in Machine Learning and applications of Artificial Intelligence in Finance. Scott serves as Vice Chair and Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Success Academy Charter Schools. He founded an Elementary School in New York, which ranks in the top 1% of education in New York State.
Chris Hentemann organized and launched 400 Capital Management LLC in October 2008. Chris is Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of 400CM as well as the Chair of the Firm’s Investment and Executive Committees. Prior to 400CM, Chris was Head of Global Structured Products at Banc of America Securities where he led the strategy for lending, securitization, trading, sales, research and investment management of residential and commercial mortgage asset-backed securities, CLOs, tax and credit derivatives. Prior to joining BAS, Chris was Vice President and a senior trader in residential mortgage securities, CMOs and derivatives at Salomon Brothers Inc. Chris began his career at CS First Boston where he was responsible for trading and structuring residential mortgage securities, CMOs and derivatives. Chris serves on the Executive Committee for the Boston College Wall Street Business Leadership Council, and the Board of Directors for Domus Kids and the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation. Chris graduated from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Ulrike Hoffmann-Burchardi Ph.D. is the CIO for Global Equities at the UBS Chief Investment Office. She is a member of the Global Investment Committee, which defines the UBS Investment House View, the core of UBS’s USD 5.5 trillion Global Wealth Management ecosystem. Before joining UBS, Ulrike was a Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager at Tudor Investment Corporation, where she oversaw a global equity portfolio inside Tudor’s flagship client strategy fund. Ulrike was recognized in 2022 and 2023 as one of the “100 Most Influential Women in US Finance” by Barron’s magazine. She is the recipient of the 2023 Women’s Investment Leadership Award presented by the Managed Futures Association (MFA). Ulrike serves on the board of 100 Women in Finance, a global 15,000-member not-for-profit organization to empower women in the finance and alternative investment industries. An advocate for STEM education in grades K-12, she serves on the board of NYC FIRST, a global youth-serving robotics community. Ulrike is a Fellow of the 2021 class of the Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
David Rogal, Managing Director, is portfolio manager in BlackRock’s Fundamental Fixed Income Group and a member of the FFI Executive Committee. Mr. Rogal is the lead portfolio manager for BlackRock’s Total Return, Core Bond, and Inflation Protected mutual fund portfolios, overseeing roughly $60bn in total client assets. He is also a co-portfolio manager on BlackRock’s Strategic Income Opportunities Fund. Mr. Rogal focuses on broad macro positioning, with specialties in global interest rates, inflation, and volatility trading. Mr. Rogal joined Fixed Income in 2009. Previously, he was a member of BlackRock’s Multi Asset Strategies group, where he developed quantitative models and advised insurance companies, pension funds, and banks on asset allocation and asset liability management. Mr. Rogal began his career at BlackRock in 2006 as an analyst in the Financial Institutions group. Mr. Rogal earned a BA degree with majors in Economics and Biology from Cornell University in 2006.
David Sherr founded One William Street Capital Management in 2007, and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s day-to-day activities. Mr. Sherr is also the head of the firm’s Investment Steering Team and Management Steering Team and a member of the Risk Committee. Mr. Sherr has over 35 years of experience in the investing and origination businesses, fixed income markets, and managing global trading. Prior to founding One William Street Capital Management, Mr. Sherr was a Managing Director and Global Head of Securitized Products at Lehman Brothers. In that capacity, Mr. Sherr had senior management responsibilities in Fixed Income, Principal Investing and Lending and Investment Banking. He was also a member of Lehman’s Global Risk and Fixed Income Operating Committees. Mr. Sherr graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Babson College.
Kevin Warsh serves as the Shepard Family Distinguished Visiting Fellow in Economics at the Hoover Institution and lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is a partner of Stanley Druckenmiller at Duquesne Family Office LLC and serves on the board of directors of UPS and Coupang, the leading Korean e-commerce company. Warsh is a member of the Group of Thirty (G30) and the Panel of Economic Advisers of the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). Warsh conducts extensive research in the field of economics and finance. He issued an independent report to the Bank of England proposing reforms in the conduct of monetary policy in the United Kingdom. Parliament adopted the report’s recommendations. Governor Warsh served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System from 2006 until 2011. Warsh served as the Federal Reserve’s representative to the Group of Twenty (G-20) and as the Board’s emissary to the emerging and advanced economies in Asia. In addition, he was Administrative Governor, managing and overseeing the Board’s operations, personnel, and financial performance. Prior to his appointment to the Board, from 2002 until 2006, Warsh served as Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Executive Secretary of the White House National Economic Council. Previously, Warsh was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York, serving as Vice President and Executive Director. Warsh received his A.B. from Stanford University, and J.D. from Harvard Law School.
