Founded by Dean Curnutt in 2019, MacroMinds is a registered 501C(3) private foundation dedicated to partnering with organizations that expand educational opportunities for students.
In 2021, MacroMinds launched its first charitable symposium virtually, raising $450,000 for Code Nation, iMentor, and the Mt. Pleasant-Blythedale School. These organizations are committed to empowering students in the New York area. This milestone was made possible with the support of 50 sponsors.
In 2022, we hosted our first in-person event, raising over $450,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, Rock The Street, Wall Street, and The Valerie Fund, with generous contributions from more than 60 sponsors and donors.
In 2023, we continued our momentum, raising over $430,000 for the Children’s Scholarship Fund, Futures and Options, and the Invest in Girls initiative of the Council for Economic Education.
In 2024, thanks to the continued generosity of our community, we raised over $300,000 to benefit Girls Who Invest, San Miguel Academy, and Smart Kids with Learning Disabilities.
In May of 2025, to celebrate a major milestone—our 5th anniversary—we hosted an intimate gathering with past sponsors, speakers, participants, and beneficiaries to express our gratitude for their support and for being an integral part of the MacroMinds journey.
Each year, MacroMinds brings together leading financial professionals to hear from top investors as they share insights on markets, the macro economy, and trade ideas, all while supporting meaningful causes and making a lasting impact on students’ lives.
Our 2026 symposium is scheduled for June 4. We aim to make this our most impactful thought leadership event yet. We are sincerely grateful for your interest and support!
