Mr. James Ganley is a managing principal and member of the Investment Committee for CarVal Investors, responsible for leading the firm’s investment strategy and management, as well as distressed corporate credit investments in the U.S. and Europe. In addition, he leads risk and portfolio management across CarVal’s credit funds and investments globally. Prior to joining CarVal in 2009, Mr. Ganley was a managing director for the Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs in Europe where he focused primarily on corporate credit investments including distressed credit, high-yield credit, event-driven investing and liquidations. Mr. Ganley received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and his B.S. in finance and accountancy from Villanova University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive)
